50 Making of order
(1) On an application to the court for an adoption order, the court may
postpone a decision on the application and make an interim order in
favour of the applicants for the custody of the child or young person.
(2) An interim order may be subject to any terms and conditions relating
to the maintenance, education and wellbeing of the child or young
person that the court thinks fit.
(3) An interim order must not be made in favour of any person unless an
adoption order in respect of the child or young person could be made
in favour of the person.
