48 Natural parent's right of access after consent S. 48(1) amended by No. 46/1998 (1) Notwithstanding that, under section 46, the Secretary or the principal officer of an adoption agency is the guardian of a child, a person who is a parent of the child who has given consent to the adoption of the child may, subject to subsection (2), visit the child during the period during which the consent may be revoked. S. 48(2) amended by No. 46/1998 (2) The Court, on the application of the Secretary or principal officer may, by order, restrict the occasions on which or times at which a parent may, under this section, visit a child.
