66Affidavits

#### 66 Affidavits (1) If an order referred to in rule 65 is made: (a) the party on whose application the order was made; or (b) if there is no such party—a party specified by the court; must file and serve on each other party an affidavit specifying the amount claimed and how it was ascertained. (2) The affidavit must be served: (a) in a limitation proceeding—within the period fixed in the order; or (b) in any other case—within 14 days after the day on which the order was made. (3) A party who has been served with an affidavit under subrule (1) may, within 14 days after being so served, file and serve an affidavit in reply. (4) The Registrar may then, on application: (a) set the reference down for hearing; and (b) give directions in relation to the hearing.
