Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This regulation repeals (cancels) the previous Administrative Decisions (Judicial Review) Regulations from 1982.

In plain terms, it is a housekeeping measure that removes old rules made under the Administrative Decisions (Judicial Review) Act 1977 from the statute book.

What it does:

Formally ends the legal effect of the 1982 regulations
Does not create any new rules or replacement regulations
Simply cleans up the legal code by deleting the earlier instrument

Who it affects: Primarily affects government administrators and lawyers who work with judicial review cases, as it removes a set of procedural rules that previously applied to challenges of government decisions. For most people, this has no direct immediate impact other than simplifying which regulations are currently in force.
