#### 30A Intervention by Attorney‑General (1AA) This section does not apply to a proceeding in the Security Division to which section 39A or 39BA applies. (1) The Attorney‑General may, on behalf of the Commonwealth, intervene in a proceeding before the Tribunal. (2) Where the Attorney‑General intervenes under subsection (1) in a proceeding for a review of a decision, the Attorney‑General may authorize the payment to a party to the proceeding by the Commonwealth of such costs as he or she considers were reasonably incurred by that party in relation to the proceeding as a result of that intervention.
