31D Persons liable for the waste or conversion of a deceased's estate (1) If a personal representative wastes or converts any part of a deceased person's estate for private use and then dies, the personal representative of that deceased personal representative is liable and chargeable in respect of the waste or conversion in the same manner as the deceased personal representative would have been if that person had been alive. (2) The liability of the personal representative of a deceased personal representative under this section is limited to the extent of the available assets of the deceased personal representative.
