### 12 How property to vest between death of person intestate and grant of representation > *\[Section 12 Amended by 25 Geo. V No. 78 \]*Where a person dies intestate, his real and personal estate, until administration is granted in respect thereof, shall vest in the Chief Justice or in case there may not be a Chief Justice at any time, then in the senior puisne judge, in the same manner and to the same extent as formerly in the case of personal estate it vested in the Ordinary in England.
