31 Revocation of grants not to prejudice actions or suits If, while any legal proceeding is pending in any court by or against any executor or administrator lawfully acting as such, the grant of probate or administration is revoked, that court may order that the proceeding be continued by or against the new personal representative in like way, as if the proceeding had been originally begun by or against the new representative, but subject to the conditions and variations (if any) as that court directs.
