What this does: Revokes the earlier airworthiness directive and requires owners/operators of Moravan Zlin Z‑242L aircraft (serial numbers up to and including 0746) to incorporate an AMU1 acceleration registration unit (ARU) and comply with Moravan Mandatory Service Bulletin Z 242L/44a. The ARU records acceleration events so each aeroplane’s individual safe‑life limit can be determined. Who it affects and why it matters: Affects the listed aircraft owners/operators who must install and use the ARU and follow the service bulletin to lawfully continue operations.
