Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This AD applies to Harbin Y12II aircraft S/N 3812, 3813, 3814, 3816 and 3817. It requires inspecting the control‑wheel pulley bearing part number and replacing any bearing that is not P/N 980067 before the aircraft next flies, because a wrongly fitted bearing could cause control‑wheel buffet.

CASA says the directive corrects a manufacturing error; operators must pay for parts and labour and may face temporary grounding until replacement is done.
