AD/WHE/7 - Nosewheel Tyres

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators to inspect Goodyear nosewheel tyres (part 217K22‑1, as listed in Goodyear SB‑2005‑32‑004 Rev 5) for specified serial numbers and replace any affected tyre before further flight. It applies to multiple transport‑category aircraft (including certain Bombardier BD700 and Gulfstream models), with inspections due within 60 days of the AD's effective date. Operators bear inspection and replacement costs; the AD follows reports of tread separations and bulges that could impair nose steering or be ingested by engines.
