Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

The instrument cancels AD/TPE 331/2 (the TPE331 "Engine Parts – Time Limitations" directive) and directs operators to AD/ENG/7 for mandatory control of life‑limited turbine engine parts. It affects aircraft operators, maintenance organisations and owners of AlliedSignal (Garrett/AiResearch) TPE331 engines and matters because it centralises life‑limit requirements under a single AD—an administrative change that shifts where compliance obligations are found, without itself listing new technical limits.
