This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of specific Tecnam P92‑J aeroplanes (serials 001–012, except 003) to carry out an immediate inspection of the fin rear spar and to modify it per Tecnam Service Bulletin P92J‑09. It was issued after a reported crack to correct an unsafe condition. Operators pay for inspections and the mandated modification and may be grounded until inspections/modification are done; CASA’s delegate enforces timing and accepts compliance, while the manufacturer provides the technical instructions.
