AD/TBM 700/43 - Aileron Control Cable Pulleys

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of EADS SOCATA TBM 700 C aircraft (serial nos. 261–268 and 270–323) to inspect aileron control cable pulleys and brackets and to repair any defects following EADS SOCATA Service Bulletin TBM 700 No. 70‑134 (or a later DGAC‑approved revision). Compliance is required within 10 flight hours of the effective date. The owner/operator pays for inspection and repairs; the directive was issued because incorrect pulley‑bracket geometry can offset cables and reduce roll controllability, and it is enforced by the CASA delegate.
