Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of specified TBM 700 B and C aeroplanes (listed serial numbers) to replace cargo-floor panel single-lug anchor nuts and two rear strap-ring fittings per SOCATA Service Bulletin TBM 700 No. 70-125. CASA (delegate David Villiers) made it effective 9 June 2005.

Work must be carried out at the next 600‑hour inspection after 9 June 2005 and no later than 28 February 2006. Owners bear parts and labour costs; the directive follows reports that oversize anchor nuts may loosen and impair self-locking capability.
