Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD mandates owners/operators of specific Aerospatiale (Socata) TBM 700 serial-numbered aircraft to carry out the corrective actions in Socata Service Bulletin 70-028-55 within 100 hours TIS after 6 January 1994, addressing DGAC‑identified inadequate drainage at the empennage central bearing.

It creates an immediate, owner‑funded maintenance obligation that changes scheduling and drives demand to maintenance providers; the AD prescribes the service bulletin as the required method but does not state costs.
