This airworthiness directive requires specified Aerospatiale (Socata) TBM 700 aircraft (by serial number) to have corrective work done per Socata Service Bulletin 70-027-55 within 100 flight hours after 6 January 1994 to address a potential rudder-skin to rear-spar unbonding.

It affects owners/operators of the listed airframes and maintenance organisations, creates direct compliance costs and downtime, and delegates the technical remedy to the manufacturer’s service bulletin.
