Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of certain Socata TBM 700 aircraft (listed by serial number) to inspect the nose‑wheel tyre and, if necessary, carry out the corrective work specified in Socata Service Bulletin 70‑089‑32. The work must be done at the next scheduled inspection after 19 July 2001 or no later than 31 August 2001. Operators fund and schedule the inspection/replacement; the directive delegates the safety decision to CASA and relies on the manufacturer’s bulletin and an associated DGAC AD.
