Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

The directive requires owners/operators of affected TBM 700 aeroplanes (serial no. 1 onward without Socata mod No 70-099-35) to have the oxygen-generator striker pin replaced and a washer installed per Socata Mandatory Service Bulletin 70-046-35. Issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, the one‑time maintenance reduces the risk that an oxygen generator will fail to operate; compliance is mandatory by the next scheduled inspection or the stated deadline.
