Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This AD requires owners/operators of specified Socata TB20 serial numbers to inspect—and, if needed, correct—stabilator control rod ends per Socata Service Bulletin No. 29, after reports of excessive play from loose rivets. An initial inspection is required within 25 hours TIS after 6 Feb 1987 and then at each scheduled Maintenance Release inspection until modification; operators bear the cost and must prioritise these checks to mitigate a control-surface safety risk.
