Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD mandates inspections and/or modifications on Aerospatiale (Socata) TB20 and TB21 aeroplanes (S/N 1–1051, except 1040 and 1042) to address possible cracks at engine‑mount and landing‑gear attachments. Work must follow Aerospatiale SB 42/1 before 1,500 hours TIS or within 100 hours after 27 Dec 1990, then at intervals ≤500 hours, until kit 9152 is fitted, which terminates the AD. It affects aircraft owners/operators and maintenance organisations and creates recurring inspection costs or a one‑time modification trade‑off.
