Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD requires owners/operators of specified Aerospatiale (Socata) TB9/TB10 aeroplanes (S/Ns 1–709 except listed exclusions) to inspect stabilator control rod ends and carry out corrective work per Socata Service Bulletin No. 29—initially within 25 hours TIS after 6 Feb 1987 and at each scheduled Maintenance Release until the modification is done. It responds to reported loose rivets causing excessive play; operators bear inspection/repair costs and downtime to mitigate control‑surface risk.
