Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive mandates corrective work on the oil cooler inlet and outlet elbows of Socata TB9 and TB10 aircraft, to be carried out per Socata Service Bulletin NR 50-1 before 31 January 1991. It makes compliance mandatory for owners/operators (who bear the cost and downtime) to address oil leaks that have led to total engine oil loss; the CASA action aligns with a related DGAC directive.
