This document cancels a previous aviation safety rule (Airworthiness Directive) that required inspections for corrosion in the low-pressure turbine (LPT) discs of Rolls-Royce Tay series aircraft engines.
What changed:
This means aircraft operators no longer need to follow the specific inspection requirements from the original AD/TAY/7, but must instead comply with the updated requirements in AD/TAY/17.
