Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires inspection and, if needed, repair of the front fuel cut-off ring on Rolls‑Royce Tay TAY611‑8 engines that are serial numbers before 16204 and do not have Service Bulletin TAY‑72‑1025 incorporated.

It affects aircraft operators, maintenance organisations and owners: installed engines must be inspected within 25 flight cycles or one month; uninstalled engines before installation; any defects must be fixed before further flight. The AD responds to incorrect installation that could disable the emergency fuel shut-off.
