Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This instrument requires owners/operators of certain Lucas‑Air electric rescue hoists (specific part numbers listed) to comply with the French DGAC airworthiness directive DGAC AD 90‑121 and the related Lucas service bulletin by 28 July 1990. It makes those inspections/repairs mandatory in Australia, shifting costs and scheduling burdens to operators to reduce the risk of hoist cable winding reversal from guide‑pin wear.
