Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Requires owners/operators of SIAI Marchetti Model F260/F260B/F260C/F260D aeroplanes (serials up to 848) to apply a black arc to the airspeed indicator according to SIAI Marchetti Service Bulletin 260B54, within 50 flight hours of 9 November 1995. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority issues the directive; operators pay for and arrange the marking and any maintenance. SIAI Marchetti’s review says the normal operating speed range has been reduced, so pilots must rely on the revised ASI marking when operating the aircraft.
