Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive legally requires owners/operators of SIAI Marchetti F260 aircraft with serial numbers 003, 101–125, and 2–29 to modify the engine mount per the manufacturer's Service Bulletin No. 260B3. The modification is mandatory before flying: it remedies a fatigue/design weakness that could allow in‑flight engine separation and catastrophic loss of control.
