Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires operators of SIAI Marchetti S205, S208 and S208A aeroplanes to replace certain flap cable pulley brackets and pulleys and to inspect other brackets/pulleys, following SIAI Marchetti Service Bulletin 205B60. CASA requires the work at the next Maintenance Release or within 100 flight‑hours of 7 December 1995. The stated purpose is to prevent flap‑cable failure from misaligned brackets; operators pay for parts and labour and must follow the prescriptive service bulletin with little regulatory discretion.
