Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Owners/operators of SAAB SF340A aircraft (serials 003–138) must have the corrective action in SAAB‑Scania Service Bulletin SF340‑29‑004 Rev 1 carried out by 30 June 1993 (unless already done). The directive responds to reports of undetected hydraulic pressure loss that allowed taxiing with steering/brakes inoperative. Operators bear the cost and downtime; maintenance organisations must implement the bulletin’s instructions.
