Applicability:	All models with S/Nos. 340A-003 to -048.
Requirement:	Action in accordance with SAAB-Fairchild Service Bulletin SF340-27-018 Rev.1 and SF340-27-032.The use of later approved revisions of these documents is acceptable for compliance with the requirements of this AD.Note: Swedish AD No. 1-006 Rev. A refers.
Compliance:	Prior to 31 March 2010, unless already accomplished.
	This Amendment becomes effective on 28 January 2010.
Background:	Analysis/tests have demonstrated that it is necessary to reduce the range of travel imposed by the rudder limiter mechanism in the higher speed range to fully comply with certification requirements.This amendment updates the documents required to comply with the latest edition of Swedish AD No. 1-006 Rev. A that introduces a structural clearance check of the rudder limiter hook and a modification contained in SB SF340-27-032.
