| Background: | Bleed air leakage in the ACM compartment caused by “Gamah” type coupling separation has resulted in structural damage due to overheated panels with resultant bonding separation between stringers and skin panel. This amendment mandates SB340-53-025 as contained in Swedish AD No. 1-029. Also, Compliance 2. (b) of the previous issue of this AD has been removed as it was an Australian unique requirement not contained in the Requirement documents or the Swedish AD. Therefore, SB SF340-53-025 has been inserted into this amendment and the required actions of the previous AD revised into a single requirement and a single compliance requirement. |
