Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires inspection and re‑orientation of the Hydrolok retaining pin on all B/E Aerospace Skyluxe II (AA2) passenger seats, following the manufacturer’s Alert Service Bulletin. It affects aircraft operators and maintenance organisations that manage those seats because a migrating pin can disconnect and allow the seat back to rotate rearward, removing rearward restraint and creating an unsafe condition.
