CASA mandates reinforcement of specified A.M.I. pilot seat frames by installing A.M.I. brace kit P/N 865K9000-1 per the manufacturer’s service bulletin, for owners/operators of the listed seat models by 30 April 1984. The AD follows a survivable emergency‑landing failure and tests showing the frame can fail below the 9G requirement; affected operators must obtain and fit the kit and bear associated cost and downtime.
