Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD mandates that Shorts SD3-60 aeroplanes (S/N SH3601–SH3678) undergo the corrective maintenance specified in Shorts Service Bulletin SD360-55-06 Revision 1 on the horizontal stabilizer rear spar before each aircraft reaches 4,800 hours TIS. The action responds to reports of loose blind rivets attaching the bottom skin to the rear spar. CASA requires compliance; operators arrange and pay for the work, which may affect scheduling and maintenance resources.
