Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

What it does: Requires owners/operators of SD3-30 aircraft that incorporated Shorts Service Bulletin SD330-30-30 (Original Issue, June 1988) to rewire the autofeather system in accordance with Shorts SB SD330-30-30 Revision 1 (September 1997) by 31 March 1999. This corrects wiring changes from the original bulletin that inhibited autofeather operation; affected operators must schedule and pay for the rewiring work to restore the system.
