AD/SD3-30/13 Amdt 1 - Right and Left Drag Links - Inspection and Modification

This AD mandates inspection and any required modification of the right and left drag links on Short SD3‑30 aircraft S/N SH3002–SH3088, to be done per Shorts SB No. SD3‑53‑48 Rev.1 within 600 hours TIS after 30 Nov 1982. Amendment 1 adds repeat inspection intervals for certain repairs and accepts radiographic NDT. Owners/operators and contracted maintenance/NDT providers bear the costs, scheduling and compliance burden to preserve airworthiness and avoid regulatory action.

Applicability: All model SD3-30 with S/Nos. SH3002 to SH3088. Document: Shorts SB No. SD3-53-48, Rev. 1.

Compliance: Unless already accomplished, within 600 hours time in service after 30 November, 1982.
