Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD applies to all British Aerospace (Scottish Aviation) Twin Pioneer aeroplanes and mandates that operators carry out the flap‑system maintenance/inspection in Scottish Aviation TNS 50 issue 3, on a 200‑hour time‑in‑service repeat cycle (with the initial timing as described). It matters because aircraft owners/operators must schedule, pay for and record recurring maintenance, maintenance organisations must perform and log the work, and CASA enforces compliance; the amendment adopts the manufacturer’s later interval, reducing intervention frequency.
