AD/SA 315/2 - Free-Wheel Inspections following Main Rotor Impact

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Eurocopter SA 315 B (Lama) helicopters, after the main rotor has hit an obstacle while rotating, to have the freewheel inspected in accordance with Eurocopter Telex Service No. 01.27 (22 April 1992) or a later DGAC‑approved revision, before further flight. The AD names DGAC AD 92‑130‑033(B) as a reference and became effective 23 November 2006. Operators must ground the helicopter until the specified inspection is completed and pay for/arrange the maintenance (Applicability; Requirement; Compliance).
