| Applicability: | Model SA 315 B helicopters not modified to AMS 2195 or LAMA Service Bulletin No. 53.05. |

| Requirement: | Inspect in accordance with LAMA Service Bulletin No. 05.17.If cracks or distortions are detected during any inspection, before further flight, replace either the damaged stringer by a new part of the same part number, or replace the whole transmission support platform.Note: DGAC AD 80-250-21(B) refers. |
| Compliance: | Unless the initial inspection is already accomplished, before 23 December 2006. Inspect thereafter at intervals not to exceed 400 flight hours. |
| This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 23 November 2006. | |
| Background: | Reports were received of cracks on the stringer under the transmission support platform at forward attachment clamps, part number 55212.280 BGZ, on the main structure. |
