Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This directive requires operators of Eurocopter AS 332 C/C1/L/L1 helicopters delivered before 1 January 2003 to inspect the right-hand hydraulic reservoir adapter and replace adapters manufactured before 2002 (those without a yellow paint mark), using the Eurocopter Alert Service Bulletin procedures. The measure is intended to prevent loss of hydraulic assistance caused by cracking of the adapter.

Operators must arrange and pay for the inspections and any replacements, meet short compliance deadlines, and follow the manufacturer’s procedures cited in the AD.
