Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

What it does: This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of all Eurocopter AS332 (Super Puma) helicopters to follow Eurocopter Service Bulletin AS332 No. 01.00.43 Rev 1, adding daily inspections of the tail‑rotor pitch‑change spider and a shim‑thickness reinspection at the next 250‑hour tail‑rotor hub check.

Why it matters: The amendment adds a 50‑hour reinspection where initial compliance occurred to prevent pitch‑change spider failure. Operators bear inspection costs and face scheduling and measurement burdens.
