Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Requires replacement of specified Rotax engine fuel pumps and their steel fuel lines because steel lines can crack at the fitting and cause fuel leaks. It applies to aircraft fitted with Rotax 912A, 912F and 912UF engines as referenced in the manufacturer technical bulletins.

Aircraft owners/operators pay for parts and labour. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) mandates compliance: replace within 100 hours time-in-service or at the next repair of a leaking pump. The directive is prescriptive and intended to reduce the risk of fuel leaks.
