Plain English Summary

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of aircraft fitted with Rotax 914 F series engines to inspect the crankcase, engine suspension frame and exhaust bend using the specified Rotax Service Bulletins to detect cracks (Requirement; Applicability). Inspections must start within 10 hours time‑in‑service and then recur — 110‑hour intervals for crankcase/frame and 55‑hour intervals for the exhaust (Compliance). CASA (the delegate signing the AD) mandates and enforces the inspections; operators pay for and arrange the work.
