Plain English Summary

What this does

This document cancels a previous aircraft safety rule (Airworthiness Directive AD/ROBIN/9) that applied to Robin Aviation Series Aeroplanes.

The details

Old rule: Required maintenance or inspection of welds on rudder bar assemblies (the foot pedals that steer the aircraft)
What changes: The old rule is completely revoked as of 17 January 2008
Why: A newer, updated directive (AD/ROBIN/27 Amendment 2) now covers these safety requirements, making the old one redundant

Who needs to know

Aircraft owners, operators, and maintenance engineers working on Robin Aviation Series Aeroplanes must ensure they comply with the newer directive (AD/ROBIN/27 Amdt 2) rather than this cancelled one.
