Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

What this does: This is a mandatory safety notice requiring owners to replace specific faulty pilot seatbelts (safety harnesses) in Robin aircraft.

Who it affects: Anyone operating Avions Pierre Robin aircraft.

What you must do:

Check if your pilot's safety harness has part number EFA 602-596 M2 or EFA 602-596-1 M2
If either is fitted, remove it and install an approved, serviceable (safe and airworthy) replacement

Deadline: The replacement must be completed within 100 hours of flight time after 31 May 1978.

Why it matters: Faulty harness straps could fail in an accident. This directive ensures pilot restraint systems meet safety standards. The manufacturer issued Service Bulletin No. 6 with technical details.
