Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This amendment to an Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of Anjou Aeronautique Type 343 and 343‑1 lap belts, safety‑belt extensions and torso restraints to inspect the buckle spring per the manufacturer’s service bulletins and to discard and replace defective units with an approved alternate. It sets recurring inspection intervals and staggered replacement deadlines that differ by aircraft use, maximum take‑off weight and date of manufacture, shifting some compliance timing for general‑aviation aircraft. Operators bear the equipment, labour and record‑keeping costs.
