If the seat belt is marked as an EON Corporation seat belt manufactured under “TSO–C22”, determine if an E6000 buckle is fitted. The E6000 buckle assemblies can be identified by the type of catch they use. | This AD commences on 24 April 2017. | |
| Background: | This AD is prompted by reports of a buckle assembly that pulled apart under load and of other assemblies that could be pulled apart by manipulating the latch in the buckle. This could result in lack of restraint during either flight or crash loads. This amendment corrects reference to a superseded regulation. |
