Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This safety directive requires owners and maintainers to modify the capacitor insulation on Marconi Automatic Loop radio direction finder units (models 1324 and 1324A) before they may be installed in any aircraft.

It prevents electrical failures from degraded insulation that could create in-flight safety hazards, ensuring only modified, airworthy units enter service.
