Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

Owners and operators of ARC Type 317A VHF comm/nav units must modify the localiser flag circuit so it’s powered from the outputs of the 90 and 150 cycle filters.

This mandatory fix (or the approved alternative, Rex Aviation Radio Design Change No. 6) prevents false localiser indications during approaches, preserving reliable guidance for safe instrument landings.
